International Opportunities
Sedgman is a global organisation, with offices in Australia, Chile, China and South Africa. Our projects spread across North & South America, Asia, Australia and South Africa. Opportunities to work on international projects are available to employees who wish to extend their own experience, subject to business needs.
Competitive Remuneration
Sedgman’s remuneration framework is based on the following philosophies:
- Our remuneration, benefits and rewards position and practices seek to be competitive and flexible while giving due consideration to existing certified agreements and market demands.
- Individual contribution, employee competence and performance outcomes may influence the level of total remuneration, benefits and rewards.
- Sedgman strives for consistency in its application of the remuneration, benefits and rewards framework. This ensures a fair and equitable policy which also rewards exceptional performance.
Incentive Plan
Sedgman offers employees participation in an annual incentive program, designed to reward eligible employess for their achievements through cash payments.
Social Activities
Sedgman employees enjoy a vibrant work environment. This is encouraged by management via the sponsoring of a number of employee social activities, including an active Social Club, staff family day, corporate triathlon and regular employee gatherings.
Parental Leave
Sedgman offers a paid parental leave scheme which, in addition to existing statutory rights, includes two months paid leave for new mothers who have at least 12 months service with Sedgman.
Health Insurance
Sedgman employees have the opportunity to join the Sedgman BUPA Health Plan, which offers benefits not available to retail customers.
Sedgman Employee Assistance Program
Life can be demanding, and at times we all struggle with life’s many pressures. The Sedgman Employee Assistance Program provides a confidential counselling service to its employees and immediate families for issues of a personal, family related or employment nature.

This program is designed to provide reward for exceptional team or individual performance at the time of achievement.
Study Assistance Program
Sedgman Limited is committed to providing an avenue of personal and professional career development to meet current and projected future needs of its operations. Sedgman encourages employees to develop their skills and knowledge by providing assistance for approved studies which are demonstrably of value to both the employee and Sedgman’s corporate objectives. Financial assistance and leave to attend classes and examinations may be granted to eligible employees enrolled in an approved program.
Employee Referral Program
Employees who refer someone they know to apply for an advertised position with Sedgman may be eligible for a cash payment, if the referred person is subsequently employed.
